Regina Pats and REAL announce WHL outdoor Prairie Classic at Mosaic Stadium

The Regina Pats Hockey Club, in partnership with Regina Exhibition Association Limited, is pleased to announce a WHL outdoor game will take place as part of Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic Week in late October.

The Pats will host the Calgary Hitmen at Mosaic Stadium on Sunday, October 27 at 2 p.m. in the Prairie Classic, it will be the second outdoor meeting between the two franchises who played at McMahon Stadium in 2011.

General seating for the event will be $18.50, taxes and fees included, tickets will go on sale August 29, 2019 at 10 a.m. at ticketmaster.ca.

“We are extremely excited to be part of Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic Week,” said Pats Governor Anthony Marquart. “We have worked hard with our partners at REAL to make this possible, to be able to showcase our club outdoors at Mosaic Stadium will be an event no one will forget.”

“To have the opportunity to host not one, but two outdoor games is something truly special,” said Tim Reid, President and CEO of Regina Exhibition Association Limited. “We are very excited to partner with the Regina Pats to give WHL hockey fans a unique game day experience at Mosaic Stadium during Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic Week.”

“The WHL and Regina Pats appreciate the support and cooperation we have received from the NHL and REAL in providing this opportunity to stage a WHL outdoor game as part of the historic NHL Heritage Classic week,” commented WHL Commissioner Ron Robison. “The WHL Prairie Classic will allow our players and fans the chance to be part of this historic outdoor event at Mosaic Stadium in Regina.”

Regina Pats season ticket holders will see outdoor tickets uploaded into their My Pats Accounts on Tuesday, August 20; no purchase will be required. Ticket holders will be able to go in and switch seats or stay in the ones assigned. For instruction on how to switch your seats please visit reginapats.com/prairieclassic.
