Pats Spring Development Camp Begins Friday

Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats Hockey Club will hold its annual Spring Development Camp this weekend (Friday May 31st – Sunday, June 2nd) at the Cooperators Centre.

The 2013 Pats Spring Camp offers players from the Pats’ 2012 WHL Bantam Draft Class to show their progress after a season of playing midget hockey and start making their case for a spot on the 2013-14 Regina Pats roster.  The 1997-born class includes prospects defenceman Brady Reagan along with forwards Austin Wagner and Rykr Cole.

The camp is also the first time players from the 2013 Draft (1998-born players) will take to the ice in a WHL setting after being selected by the Pats on May 2nd.  Fans have their first opportunity to see second overall pick Sam Steel on the ice along with forward Luc Smith and goaltender Kurtis Chapman.

The Pats prospects will be on the ice at the Cooperators Centre three times this weekend, and all practices are open to the public.
