Pats Sign Raiden Zacharias to Standard Player Agreement

Edmonton, Alta. — The Regina Pats are pleased to announce the signing of 2006-born forward Raiden Zacharias to a Western Hockey League Standard Player Agreement.

Zacharias, 15, was selected by the Pats in the fourth round, 75th overall, in the 2021 WHL Prospects Draft this past December.

“Raiden has a lot of skill to his game and was producing a lot of points with the Saskatoon Blazers this season,” Regina Pats GM and Head Coach John Paddock said. “Our injury situation necessitated we move quickly, and we are excited to add him to our organization.”

The 5-foot-10, 185 lb. winger has produced 52 points (14G-38A) in 40 games this season with the Saskatoon Blazers of the Saskatchewan Male AAA Hockey League, where his 38 assists lead his team and rank fourth in the SMAAAHL. Amongst 2006-born players, Zacharias’ 52 points rank 2nd in the league. Last season, Zacharias played for the Saskatoon Generals U15 AA club, recording 13 points (6G-7A) in four contests.

Raiden will wear #39 for the Pats and will dress tonight for his debut at 8:00 p.m. C.T. inside Rogers Place against the Edmonton Oil Kings.

The Pats would like to welcome Raiden and the Zacharias family to Regina and the Pats organization.
