Regina, Saskatchewan – The Regina Pats Hockey Club announced today the team will host “Rider Pride” Night presented by Mosaic at the Brandt Centre when the Pats face off with their rivals, the Moose Jaw Warriors, Wednesday, October 30th at 7:00 p.m.
As a part of the new partnership between the Regina Pats and Saskatchewan Roughriders, the Blue and White will don the Green and White in the form of a commemorative jersey for their upcoming contest with the Warriors.
“It’s an exciting opportunity to continue to grow our relationship with the Roughrider organization,” commented Regina Pats Senior VP and General Manager Chad Lang. “This event is more than a partnership between two prominent franchises with rich history. It’s about coming together as a community to show appreciation to the loyal fans and sponsors who continue to support both teams.”
Roughrider players and personnel will be at the game for a puck drop ceremony and to take in “Rider Pride” Night as the Thirteenth Man moves into the hockey world for a night.
“The Saskatchewan Roughriders are pleased to partner with the Regina Pats for Wednesday’s Rider Pride night,” stated Riders President and CEO Jim Hopson. “We look forward to being a part of and supporting one of the most exciting matchups in the WHL.”
Fans are encouraged to turn the Brandt Centre into a “Sea of Green” and show their Rider Pride in the heart of Riderville as we cheer on the Riders towards the 101st Grey Cup.
Fans of the Pats and Riders can show their support with limited edition green Reebok shirts featuring the Pats/Riders logo. The shirts will be available at the Pats Neutral Zone Store and the Rider Store for $25 while supplies last. Commemorative logo pins will also be available for $6 each.
