Pats Announce 2022 Training Camp Schedule & Roster

Regina, Sask. – The Regina Pats Hockey Club announced Friday the full schedule and roster for their 2022 Training Camp at the Brandt Centre.

The camp will run from Friday, September 2 to Wednesday, September 7, all at the Brandt Centre, with the annual Bennett Dunlop Ford Blue vs. White Intersquad game being held on Tuesday, September 6 at 6:00 p.m.

Here is the full schedule:

Friday, September 2

  • 9:00-9:45am: Team Red Practice
  • 10:00-11:30am: Team White vs Team Blue
  • 6:00-6:45pm: Team White Practice
  • 7:00-8:30pm: Team Blue vs Team Red

Saturday, September 3

  • 9:00-10:30am: Team Blue vs Team White
  • 10:45-11:30am: Team Red Practice
  • 6:00-6:45pm: Team Blue Practice
  • 7:00-8:30pm: Team White vs Team Red

Sunday, September 4

  • 10:00-10:45am: Team White Practice
  • 11:00am-12:30pm: Team Blue vs Team Red

Monday, September 5

  • 10:00-10:45pm: Vets and Goalie Session
  • 11:00am-12:30pm: Rookie Game

Tuesday, September 6

  • 6:00-8:00pm: Bennett Dunlop Ford Blue vs White Game

Wednesday, September 7

  • 2:00-4:00pm: Practice

The 2022 Regina Pats Training Camp will be open to the public, free of charge.

The 2022 Bennett Dunlop Ford Blue vs. White Intersquad game will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6 at the Brandt Centre. Admission for the game will be $10 with a donation of a non-perishable food item to the Regina Food Bank. Without a donation, tickets are $15. Trucks will be parked outside the arena to receive non-perishable food donations.

A total of 58 players, seven goalies, 17 defencemen and 34 forwards will attend the Pats 2022 Training Camp. The Pats have invited 11 free-agents, as well as all eight players drafted by the Pats in the 2022 WHL Prospects draft, and nine from the 2021 WHL Prospects draft, as it will be the first training camp for first-round picks Cole Temple and Jaxsin Vaughan.

The Pats will welcome back 18 players from last years roster to training camp, as well as several signed prospects who appeared in games with the Pats this past season.

Regina will have five pre-season games before their home opener against the Moose Jaw Warriors on September 23. The Pats will begin their pre-season schedule on Friday, September 9, playing a home-and-home set against the Prince Albert Raiders. The Pats will then take on the Swift Current Broncos in Estevan, Sask. at Affinity Place on September 13 before wrapping up their pre-season schedule on September 15 and 17 against the Winnipeg ICE.
