Pats Acquire Quiring From Everett

Regina, Sask. — The Regina Pats have acquired 2003-born forward Steel Quiring from the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round pick.
Quiring, 19, tallied 7 points (3G-4A) in 32 games this season split between the Everett Silvertips and the Calgary Hitmen. The Vernon, B.C. product split last season between Calgary and the Kelowna Rockets, producing 25 points (12G-13A) in 59 games. The 6-foot-2, 188 lb. forward was drafted by the Kelowna Rockets in the fifth-round (89th overall) in 2018.
“We needed another forward based on our numbers and we like that he can play centre or wing,” Regina Pats GM and Head Coach John Paddock said. “He is a big body with some experience, and it seemed like a good fit.”
