Cale Fleury makes Montreal Canadiens opening night roster


Former Regina Pats defenceman Cale Fleury has made the Montreal Canadiens opening night roster for the 2019-20 NHL season.

The 21-year-old was a member of the Pats in their Memorial Cup year in 2017-18. He put up six goals and 41 points in 51 games with the club.

Fleury turned pro in 2018-19 and scored nine goals and 14 points in 60 games with the Laval Rocket of the American Hockey League.
