Steel, Hobbs, Wagner & Zborovskiy back from Canada Russia Series, Ready for Moose Jaw Thursday

Four members of the Regina Pats, Sam Steel, Connor Hobbs, Austin Wagner and Sergey Zborovskiy, returned from the 2016 CIBC Canada Russia Series on Wednesday afternoon.

Steel picked up a goal and an assist in the two games for Team WHL, Austin Wagner scored once and Connor Hobbs tallied an assist.

Sergey Zborovskiy performed well on the back end for Team Russia in the two games. Team WHL finished with a 1-0-1-0 record against Russia in the two contests.

Austin Wagner, Sam Steel and Head Coach and GM John Paddock met with the media on Wednesday to talk about the series and to look ahead to Thursday’s game in Moose Jaw against the Warriors.
