The Regina Pats won a second consecutive game in overtime on Sunday, 3-2 over the Edmonton Oil Kings at the Brandt Centre. The game’s first goal did not come until the second period when the Edmonton powerplay broke through thanks to Connor McDonald to make it 1-0. In the third, Sam Steel drew the Pats even with a powerplay goal at 11:20, his fourth of the year and that eventually forced overtime. Regina started the extra frame on the powerplay and a minute in, Emil Oksanen finished off a beautiful passing play with Sam Steel and Josh Mahura and the Pats won 3-2.
