RECAP: Pats Fall in Overtime in Game 3 Monday Night
The Regina Pats lost 2-1 in overtime in game three Monday night in Swift Current against the Broncos. With the win, Swift Current takes a 2-1 series lead. Regina, who were without Adam Brooks and Filip Ahl in the game, opened the scoring early in the second thanks to Dawson Leedahl. The Broncos tied it 1-1, just 2:07 later and that was all the goal scoring through regulation. Just 1:46 into overtime, Colby Sissons would win it for Swift Current with his third of the playoffs. Tyler Brown made 31 saves in the loss for the Pats, Jordan Papirny stopped 33 at the other end of the ice for Swift Current. The Regina powerplay was oh for two and the penalty kill was three for four. The Pats will visit the Broncos in game four on Tuesday night at the Credit Union Iplex at 7 p.m. on 620 CKRM and Access 7.
