Pats Steel Signs with Anaheim Ducks

Regina Pats forward Sam Steel signed a 3 year entry level contract with the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old Sherwood Park, Alberta product was drafted in the first round, 30th overall by the Ducks in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft.

Steel currently leads the WHL in scoring with 54 points. He is tied for 3rd in goals with 23 and third in plus/minus at plus 27.

In 163 career WHL games, Steel has scored 63 goals and has 178 points.
