The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce the signing of forwards Tristen Robins and Cole Dubinsky as well as defencemen Ryker Evans and Parker Gavlas.
Robins, a fourth round pick in 2016, played at the Rink Hockey Academy in 2016-17, scoring five goals and eight assists for 13 points in 25 games. The Brandon, MB product is entering his 16-year-old season.
Dubinsky is also a fourth round pick but in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft. The 15-year-old from Androssan, AB scored 14 goals and 30 points in 22 games with the OHA Edmonton Bantam Prep team.
Evans was drafted in the 10th round of the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft. The 16-year-old from Calgary had three goals and 23 assists in 36 games with the CRAA Blue Minor Midget in 2016-17.
Gavlas, 18, hails from Saskatoon and was a free agent camp invite in 2017. The defenceman played in 43 games for the Battleford Stars of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League in 2016-17. Scoring six goals and picking up 11 assists. Gavlas also appeared in three games for the Yorkton Terriers of the SJHL.
The Pats will open the 2017 pre-season on Thursday night against the Saskatoon Blades at 7 p.m. at the Brandt Centre. Tickets will be available at the door for $10.
Single game regular season tickets will go on sale Tuesday, September 5 at 12 p.m. They will be available for purchase at reginapats.com, the Brandt Centre Box Office or by calling 1-855-985-5000. Flex Vouchers can only be redeemed online starting on September 5.
