Pats Sign Defenceman Samuel McGinley

The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce they have signed 15-year-old defenceman Samuel McGinley to a Standard WHL Player Agreement.

McGinley, a fifth round pick (92nd overall) in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft, is currently a member of the Edge School Elite 15’s of the CSSHL.

Last year, McGinley scored five goals and had five assists to go along with 80 penalty minutes in 36 games with the Calgary Royals of the Alberta Minor Bantam Hockey League.

The Pats return to action on Wednesday night at home to the Swift Current Broncos at the Brandt Centre at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at and the Brandt Centre Box Office.
