Pats recall defenceman Sam McGinley


The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce they have recalled defenceman Sam McGinley from the Edge Prep School of the CSSHL.

McGinley (6’2, 181) was drafted by the Pats in the fifth round of the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft.

The 16-year-old from Calgary, Alberta has put up five goals and 15 points in 19 games with the Edge School this season. He appeared in three preseason games with the Pats earlier this year, picking up one assist.

The Pats are back in action Wednesday night in Swift Current against the Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on 620 CKRM. Next home game is Friday against the Moose Jaw Warriors. Tickets are available at, the Brandt Centre Box Office and at any Regina Safeway, where Fun Zone Tickets are $13 plus tax.
