Pats & Mosaic Partner to Support REACH
The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce a new partnership with Mosaic and REACH for the 2017-18 season.
For every save made by a Regina goaltender during the regular season, Mosaic will donate $25 to REACH.
“We’ve supported REACH for the past five years, providing them with the funds they need to increase access to healthy, nutritious food for all Regina and area citizens,” says Senior Director, Public Affairs-Potash, Sarah Fedorchuk. “Partnering with the Pats gives us a new platform to increase awareness of the incredible work REACH does in our community. We know our Regina Pats have a long and exciting season ahead of them, and we can’t wait to cheer them on all the way to the Memorial Cup,”
After the Pats opening weekend, the partnership has raised $1,300 thanks to 52 saves over two games from Tyler Brown and Max Paddock.
“At REACH, we build strong children and communities around healthy food,” said REACH Executive Director Dana Folkerson. “This is done through our partnerships with like- minded organization such as the Pats and Mosaic. Partnerships such as this make Regina a great city to live in.”
REACH provides a hand up not a hand out by supporting at risk families to provide healthy food for their children. In addition, REACH helps Seniors to stay in their homes by providing healthy food to the door and teaches at risk children and families the skills to eat healthy.
“These types of initiatives are what the organization is all about,” said Pats COO Stacey Cattell. “Providing support in our community is something we strive to do and this partnership is just another way we can do that.”
The Pats return to action on Wednesday night at home to the Swift Current Broncos at the Brandt Centre at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at reginapats.com and the Brandt Centre Box Office.
