Pats announce All-Star Celebrity Classic Roster for Homecoming Weekend


The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce the 41 former NHL players who will play in the Regina Pats Centennial Salute All-Star Celebrity Classic on February 17 at the Brandt Centre.

The list includes Hockey Hall of Famers Clark Gillies, Brian Trottier, Mark Howe and Scott Niedermayer.

“We are really excited for this star studded lineup,” said Pats Chief Operating Officer Stacey Cattell. “This game will be a great day of celebrating 100 years of hockey in Regina.”

There are a total of 11 former Pats who will take part in the game. Clark Gillies, Barret Jackman, Dale Derkatch, Ed Staniowski, Garth Butcher, Gary Leeman, Jamie Heward, Mike Sillinger, Mark Janssens, Jock Callander  and Stu Grimson.

The Pats are also auctioning a chance to step on the ice with the all-stars. Two lucky individuals will get a chance to be treated just like the NHL alumni and get to experience everything they do over Homecoming Weekend.

There are two player and two coaching positions up for grabs. Details of what you will get are in the auction item description. The positions are open to the highest bidder and available for bid now by visiting  Bidding closes January 31st.

All proceeds from the auction go towards the Regina Pats Community Foundation which supports the WHL Scholarship Program as well as youth initiatives focused on health, wellness and education.

Homecoming Weekend will kick off on Friday February 16 with the first ever Pats Community Foundation Honours Dinner and Auction. The club will salute our country’s military and the NHL alumni will be in attendance. Tickets for the Honours Dinner are available here:

Finally, the Pats will host the Moose Jaw Warriors in the Centennial Classic on Sunday afternoon at the Brandt Centre.

The Pats are back in action Wednesday night in Prince Albert against the Raiders at 7 p.m. on 620 CKRM. Next home game is Friday against the Moose Jaw Warriors. Tickets are available at and the Brandt Centre Box Office.
