Jonathan Smart gets Invite to Maple Leafs Development Camp

Pats defenceman Jonathan Smart is among the 57 players invited to Toronto Maple Leafs Development Camp.

The camp gets underway July 6.

Smart, in 67 games between the Pats and Kelowna Rockets, scored three goals and 25 assists for 28 points. The 18-year-old added a goal and an assist in the 2017 post-season.

The Kelowna B.C. product finished the season at plus 37, 10th best in the entire WHL and 6th best among all defencemen.

Smart was acquired by the Pats in a trade with the Rockets in December of 2016.
