Emil Oksanen signs in Finnish Liiga

Pats forward Emil Oksanen signed a pro contract with SaiPa of the Finnish Liiga earlier this week.

The 19-year-old was ddrafted by the Pats in the second round of the 2017 CHL Import Draft.

The product of Kirkonummi, Finland scored 16 goals and had 48 points in 58 games during the 2017-18 season. He added four points in six playoff games in 2018.

With Oksanen signing in his home country and Libor Hajek expected to turn pro, the Pats will draft two Europeans in the 2018 CHL Import Draft/
