Country music star Paul Brandt to perform anthem tonight at Mastercard Memorial Cup semi-final

The 2018 Mastercard Memorial Cup Host Committee, together with the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), is pleased to announce that award-winning Canadian country music star Paul Brandt will perform O Canada at tonight’s Mastercard Memorial Cup semi-final game at the Brandt Centre.

“All week long, we have been featuring great Western Canadian performers for the singing of O Canada” says Shaun Semple, Chair of Regina’s Host Committee. “Tonight’s semi-final game is a once-in-a-lifetime event that deserves a great talent and Paul Brandt is a Canadian musical icon – we couldn’t be happier to have him perform for us tonight!”

Paul Brandt is the most awarded male Canadian country artist in history. In 2017, he was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame & Western Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame. He will also be the feature performer at the Brandt Celebration Zone venue on Saturday evening along with Leaving Thomas and David James. Doors open at 6:00pm with the show starting at 6:30pm. Passes for the event are $35.00.

Tickets for tonight’s make-or-break junior hockey event are going fast and organizers urging hockey fans to act quickly to avoid disappointment. Game tickets and Celebration Zone passes are available at or on the free event app, available at the Apple App Store or on Google Play.
